Grem-rim (Contest/Prompt Entry)

This is my first post in a while, I've been working on it basically all day. For those of you who don't know Monday is the ONLY day that I don't have work or school! Normally it is for homework but I managed to get it done quite quck? So I started working on this!!!


I figure a lot of the entries for this contest are probably going to be edgy/sad/etc. due to the theme? So I wanted to do something different but it was super tough to think of something where I could use the theme but also make it kind of humorous and light?

FOR inspiration for this, I was wondering when the last time I experienced an adrenaline rush?? LIke I get them all the time but like one that blew my pants off. 

 A STORY FOR YOUR AMUSEMENT

I have arachnophobia, pretty bad  (only with spiders, not with scorpions and whatnot) and I ALSO play Skyrim. 

Every time I'm in a spider cave I have like... a system?? I like, crouch in, fire an arrow into one of the webs, and wait for the spiders to get alerted and come around the opening to the cave so I don't have to go in lmao. I'll then send my follower in and he'll attack them close range, keeping them far from me while I kill them. This only becomes an issue with these damn spiders that drop from above and actually make me shit myself because it's TERRIFYING. 
This was like, half a week ago, I shot the arrow as per usual and one spider appeared so I was like ok, and I killed it. THEN I saw the drop hole, and I tried to trigger the spider coming out of it (I couldn't see if there was one in there? lol) by shooting arrows. When that didn't work, I sent my follower, faithful Karjo, to stroll around in the layer while I stayed safely in the entrance. When no spiders dropped I figured it was because maybe the spider that came out of the whole was the one I had killed?? So I was like oh well and just walked right through. The spider dropped right on top of me and I SCREAMED SO LOUD and closed my eyes/ran away lmao
someone help me spiders are way too scary

So this is low key based off that?? Because it happens to me a lot?
